Jaime and Tia have 20 years of broadcast animation experience between them. They worked for several years at 422 in Bristol, UK and during that time created a body of graphical work including; title sequences, adverts, music videos, and children's character animation series. Since becoming freelance in 2003, their clients have included Disney, Nickelodeon, Nokia, Granada and the BBC. In 1999, Tia won the 'Nickelodeon International Storyboard Competition' and went on to create the character Music Monster, for Nick Jnr. 'Music Monster' has been shown at festivals around the world and the series won a Platinum Award at Promax+BDA in Los Angeles, 2003. In November of 2004, Jaime's film 'The Parkie' won him the 2004, BBC Talent New Animation Award. As such, Jaime and Tia developed 4 new episodes of the 'Parkie', which have been screened on BBC3.
Having shared a passion for character animation and film making since they met at university, Jaime and Tia have co-directed a number of short films together. Including 'No Easy Way' which was nominated for an Imagina award and more recently, 'Ebenezer Morgan's Photography Emporium'.
